Family Card Management


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

          The Family Card Management module is the core database of all registered Catholic families in a parish. It stores essential demographic, sacramental, and contact details of each family, which can be used across all modules like Sacraments, Catechism, Finance, etc.

❤ Only authorized parish staff such as the parish priest, parish secretary, and appointed data entry operators can add, edit, or delete family records.
❤ Parishioners may request updates or verify their data through the mobile app or parish office.

Each Family Card contains:
♦ Family Head and Spouse details
♦ Names, birthdates, and sacraments of all family members
♦ House address, zone, and BCC linkage
♦ Contact details (phone, email)
♦ Occupation, education, and migration status
♦ Profile photo and ID (optional)

Each person listed in a Family Card is assigned a unique parishioner ID, which links them automatically to:
« Sacramental Registry
« Catechism records
« Matrimony and Pastoral care modules
« Sodalities and Commissions

Yes. The module provides advanced search and filter options to locate families by:
• Family Head name or ID
• Street name or address
• BCC / Zone
• Mobile number or any member’s name

The system supports migration management:

♣ The outgoing parish can mark the family as migrated and export records.
♣ The receiving parish can import the same Family Card using a secure transfer feature.

Yes. You can generate:

⁂ Individual printable Family Cards with parish seal
⁂ Parish-wide directory reports by BCC or street
⁂ Custom formats for census or diocesan use

❁ Only authorized users with role-based access can view or edit family data
❁ Parishioners’ data is encrypted and stored securely
❁ Consent for digital use can be obtained at registration

🔅 A local backup version is available if internet connectivity fails
🔅 All entries can be synced to the cloud once the connection is restored

Parish staff are encouraged to review and update Family Cards:

✔ Annually, especially before Easter or Advent
✔ When new sacraments are received
✔ Upon family migration, marriage, or death
